Most times, orthos will let you schedule extra appointments for your teeth cleaning and you don't have to do it as the same time as your adjustments. I didn't know the wires mattered so I never scheduled adjustment and cleaning on the same day. I will do so next time.

KreyFL: thanks for the feedback its just i got one tooth at the front which is a little tender at the moment as its had a bit of movement lately so hopefully it will get a bit better by next week.
im hoping that he takes out my wire before i get them cleaned i really want to get in there with some floss and go mad.

Weird. I've had my braces on for almost 2 years and no one has suggested or requested that my wires be removed for my cleaning. I've had 4 cleanings all with different hygeniests, and they all seem to have no problem cleaning around the brackets or wires.
