Did your face shape change after braces?

I'm really hoping my braces, and then implants, will even out the shape of my face. I'm missing several teeth on my upper left side and at least one tooth on my lower right. The left side of my face looks bulkyer and the right side appears thin. I would love to get evened out, though I went into this journey for non cosmetic reasons.

I'm mid treatment but my lips appear much fuller and I think my face looks squarer (in a good way!). So far I am very pleased!

That's awesome that yours changed for the better! Did braces also move your bottom jaw? Is that a possibility? I'm in the process of seeing an orthodontist to discuss treatment options and am concerned about getting braces and when my teeth are fixed from the overjet/overbite my jaw will somehow seem too small.

Yes! By class II elastics too or Herbst appliance.
I was treated for a bimaxillar protrusion. My face shape also has changed too, in a good way!
