I also did not have any pain. Just some minor tenderness when chewing the first couple of days. The main reason is pain tolerance. The other factor are the smaller wires first used. As treatment progresses, larger, stiffer wires will most likely be used and lead to more pain or discomfort. Like everyone else is saying, I am enjoying this pain free time.
