SueAsh5 that is so true. I've been having a tough time w/ my braces the last 6-8 months and it's important to keep reminding ourselves that we are lucky to have the opportunity to improve our smiles. A sense of perspective really helps. Thank you!

yes i feel the same way, especially paying for it myself its alot of money, so i feel lucky that i am now able to do it
I also paid for mine and I've got to say I love having braces. I feel so much better about myself and my 2 front teeth are already straightening out. Im so glad I did this!
I am definitely happy I did this. And I think that after 6 weeks I feel a lot better about my braces. Specially because I found a lot of improvement!!! It's amazing how quick things are getting straightened. I am sooo happy and can't wait to see how I will look after a couple more months!
I like what purplepetunia said about making people aware of my braces and then move on to the next topic. At least they will saciate their curiosity and pay attention to what I am saying and not to what I have in my mouth. Great advise!!! Thanks!
