How long did it take for your extraction gaps to close?

I got my power chain off for a second time a month ago and all is well...no re-opeings. *knock on wood*

I don't know if I should recommend this but I used rubber bands kinda behind my orthodontist's back. I did research and found ways to close my top and bottom gaps without screwing up my bite or messing with the brackets/wires. My bottom extractions closed after 8 months and my top closed after 11. I get my braces off in 2 months cause I have rubber bands to complete correcting my bite and that will mark 13 months with braces for me and I was supposed to have them for 30.

No extractions but I did have IPR done on my lower 4 front incisors. The gaps closed in about 3 months
