Well, they've been on now for three weeks as of yesterday. I'm finally starting to forget about them once in a while. Usually right after I've cleaned them and I'm not going to eat for a while. I've seen some movement, both on the top and the bottom. It's very small and it's really hard to tell. My photos suck as I took them on my phone. They are for sure loose all around the front. Some of the molars are starting to feel loose, mainly on my right side which is where I've had to do all my chewing.
I took my 14 year old in on the 8th to get his bottom arch braced, so he's now fully braced as well. He also got stuck with molar buildups so now he has a lot more sympathy for all my moaning and groaning that he thought was me being melodramatic. Muahahahahaha! Vindication!
So improvements all around more or less. Still have to use wax in two spots but I got some of that silicone ear wax that folks have recommended on here and it's wonderful! But I do feel a little more like I can get through this now without being miserable. Whereas even just a week ago I thought I was an idiot for doing this to myself!
Onward!

Hi gypsybug,
Vindication can be very sweet, no? I had a good chuckle over what you wrote. Yes, I suppose it's best if we can get past being miserable all the time. I am starting to feel less miserable and less sorry for myself so that's been a welcome reprieve. Glad things are starting to look up for you. Onward, indeed!
