Becky, your teeth look so lovely! I bet you're thrilled!

There seems to be a few armchair orthodontists on this thread! I think most people who undertake 6MS know that it's not going to give them the perfect results. It's not suitable for everyone and I would recommend anyone interested in them to see an ortho first to check if they're suitable. If not, then go down the Damon/full braces route... any orthodontic treatment is worth it in my opinion. I would have gone for the longer route if I had to... but I don't have bite issues.

However, I absolutely recommend 6MS from my experience so far (if all you want to correct is a cosmetic issue). I understood the sentiment in the original post so it seems a bit mean to put a dampener on Becky's glee by pointing out the perceived imperfections (!) Isn't this supposed to be a place where we support and cheer eachother on? I'm reluctant to post my final photos now if you guys are just going to pick out things that could be fixed with Damon braces... maybe we need a 6MS board?!

They look really good, but surely the internet is also a place you can get honest feedback that your friends and family might not want to say.

Sorry if I seem rude but your original post didn't seem light hearted, that's what all the smiley faces are for! :-*
I stand by my original thoughts that you have a great result for 4 months but could have better in 2 years but if you're happy thats all that matters
Brace Date: 14th April 2011
Estimated Debrace Date: 14th April 2013
Real Debrace Date 18th June 2013

4 extractions, upper ceramic brackets and lower metal to fix overjet and overcrowding.

I think your smile looks great even before braces! You're super cute and congrats with the result too. It's the small imperfections that make people beutiful. I think everyone on a forum like this is just obsessed with having the perfect teeth alignement. I'm having lingual braces only cause I needed jaw surgery to correct my bite. I actually asked my ortho if he would give me a gap between my front teeth so I wont look like everyone else! yey!!
