Re: SPACERS

#16 Post by babyrn99 »

I just had my spacers removed today. My braces were placed 6 weeks ago, and they put spacers in (4) in my upper molars last week. It was soooo painful, I couldn't chew anything. They fitted the brackets today and took an impression and made an appointment for me to come back in two weeks to have spacers placed again. (I'm whining in anticipation of the pain!) Then I will come back a week later to have an appliance put in. I'm not sure what this entails, but I'm a little nervous. My son, 18, has had none of this nonsense with his braces and hasn't even experienced the pain that I'm experiencing!
