How much more did you have to pay for clear braces?

$250 extra for ceramic tops (did metal on bottom)

If it was $800 more, I would have done metal on Top ($250 while not pleasent came out to ~10% of my pretax benefit out of pocket cost of the braces and retainers. $800 would have been closer to 1/3 of my out of pocket cost, which would not have been worth it for me).

If you mean $800 more for invisilign, I would suggest you save the money and go with traditional.
