Thank you, bbsadmin! This whole thing can be a bit overwhelming. Fortunately, my situation hasn't noticably worsened yet, so hopefully things will hold out until I see him again on the 8th of this month and maybe he'll do something to make things better. If there is an infection, I don't know how long it would take for it to spread and create a bigger problem, but hopefully it can wait 1 more week.
