Me too - heaps of crowding, but no extractions apparently needed. I had already had my wisdom teeth removed though.

But because there is so little space the orthodontist had to "shave" two of the lower front ones, which wasn't a nice experience. I'm still glad to be keeping my teeth though.

I'm assuming you took that photo shortly after your extractions? your photos made me so happy i wanted to cry! i just cant even believe how fast your teeth straightened up!

i'm getting extractions, too. i saw one ortho who used damon 3s...those braces are really good at eliminating the need for extractions i guess, but he still told me there was a 50/50 chance that i'd need extractions anyway. his price was much higher than the ortho i chose (who says i need extractions.) i really didn't want to hear that at first, but truthfully, i have an incredibly small mouth, so i think i really might have had no alternative in the end anyway. besides, i think the extractions will improve my profile.
