I have all four. Can't feel three of them, but one is pure pain.. Don't know what's wrong. Overall, I never expected to get used to all the metal..but I did.

Though as soon as I get pain in the tooth..I just want to rip it out!

I was actually surprised by the fact they haven't bothered me and I just got four on Monday morning. The application process went over fairly well too, another surprise. I was actually scared to go through with it. I had my uppers since last year and so to all of sudden do the spacers and molars bands it was awkward. I was even eating semi-normal food Monday night, it was solid anyway...meatloaf and hashbrowns. I had salad at work today....only because I forgot my soup and that was what I really wanted. What can I say the dreary day just got it all off on the wrong foot this morning, forgot stuff, didn't feel like working, couldn't concentrate...ugh

In my case molar bands did hurt for the first two days. After that the pain vanished. But I feel occassional pain at times when I use my molars to grind on to something. This is my third month and I recently observed my right lower molar, which is banded, feels kinda loose. I am not sure if it's normal.
