I was told $5000 Canadian.

My initial consultation was $40,
and I''m going for a second consultation, not sure if I'll be charged again (it's been a few years since my first consultation)

$1100 down, and the remainder over the length of the treatment, interest free.

I think extractions are extra, not sure how much, and I'm not sure about xrays and such, I'll know at my second consultation.

Wow! Seems to be a lot of variability based on length of treatment, etc.

Mine will cost me $3650, which includes the consultation (free), x-rays and molds, 2 years of braces when I get them (metal with ceramics on top front teeth only), retainers and office visits.

Plus I had to pay my regular dentist $228 for two extracted teeth.

4800 for me.

Whats with the records charges? Is this standard? Better not be, I was told me price was all inclusive. Wow will I be burnt if they try something like that. I'm the type of person that would tell them to forget the whole deal and walk out.

missing_tooth--my records were included, too, but I'm guessing those with prices for records and x-rays were quoted all these components to treatment separately. I mean, add their records costs onto their ortho costs and you have our all-inclusive price. My guess, at least.

$6,000 altogether.

$1,500 down.

$201/month.

This is all out-of-pocket.

Mine have set me back $5,500 AUD (have no idea what that is in $US). This is not including x-rays, dental treatment
for extractions, cleanings etc... And this is all out of the pocket - my private health insurance doesn't cover
anything orthodontic. :x

I'm making my final payment this week so I'll be braces-debt-free as of next week! Yay!!! :jump: Still have no idea when
these bloody things are going to come off though... it feels like an eternity after 18 months

Good point. I was told all inclusive, but you know how it goes sometimes. I got to thinking about my ortho and he personality if you will. He doesn't strike me as the kind of person to do the surprise expense on you.

I'm pretty impressed with my ortho so far. Calm, well spoken, and personable. The person who refered me to him had excellent looking teeth, and I've heard great things about him from other people.

$650(70,000 yen) down payment and $138(15,000 yen) a visit. Intrest free. Also it depends on the exchange rate. I'm seeing an Okinawan Orthodontist. I have ceramics in the front, metal in the back. No extractions yet.
