Wow, your progress is amazing! I was blessed enough to have parents that had me in orthodontia as early as age 7. I had a complicated case, but due to a bite that is STILL misaligned and minor anterior crowding, I find myself in braces for the third time at age 24. Because my teeth are apparently prone to relocating themselves from their original "homes," my NEW ortho recommends a fibrotomy after being de-braced (hopefully 6/2009...currently 6 weeks into braces). My point of this long post is that I would love for you to share your experience of your fibrotomy, so I'll know what's in store for me and others facing this procedure. Good luck with the surgery, and your progress is absolutely amazing. Congratulations!
