Huon. Thanks for your post. If anyone asks me if I'm too old for braces I'll just tell them heck no. You're never too old. Thanks for the encouragement! Age is only a number.

I'm not sure of the exact date or anything at this point, but I'm sure I'll be sixteen when they're off.

If treatment goes as planned then I will be 37

I will be 28 I think maybe close to 29

If things go according to schedule, I'll be 54 when they come off. If not, I'll be 55.

I got them when I was 53, in October, 2005, and the prognosis was 18 months. This week, for the first time, I asked the ortho when he thought they would be coming off. My niece is getting married in May and I would really like to have them off by then. He didn't commit to it, but the assistant wrote a note about it on my chart!

i turned 24 in dec and have had braces since oct last year (well fixed ones, i had a removable appliance beforehand in march last year)...all being well given my estimated treatment time i should have them off before my 25th birthday which will be lovely, my birthday is new year's eve so it'll be a great way to start the new year! although having said that should be all over and done with by the end of oct (apart from retainers). wow huon! 71!

I will be 29. I am hoping I will get them off before my 10 year wedding anniversary.

My ortho said 3-4 years so hopefully I'll get them removed for my 40th birthday - I'm 36 now - yikes!

Got them on at 22 and they should be off when im 23!

Got mine after turning 21 will be getting them off hopefully before I turn 23 if not then it will definantly after I turn 23 and before 24

I'll be 26. Mine should be coming off next week. I've had them for almost 2 years now.

I will be 38, since they should come off this year.

I will be 25 by the time they are removed, at least that's the game plan.

I'll be 23! Hopefully in my early months of 23
