Well, I am getting them on in 3 weeks and I am 34- I am supposed to have them 12-18 months- so I will be Just 36 or late 35. Unless I can't deal and have them removed at once!!!! Hopefully I'll be fine! Like all you brave people out there.
I will be 40 years old! As we get farther into treatment I am going to ask if it is possible to have them off before my 40th Birthday. They are scheduled to come off in June/July of 2009, but b-day is end of March.
But if not, I will be thrilled to have a beautiful smile in whatever time it has to happen! They have been on a month, and treatment time was 22 months.
Meryaten wrote:If they don't come off in time for your 40th, you can always do like the Queen of England, and spend your actual birthday quietly, and have an "official birthday" after the braces are off, with all the pomp and ceremony (or whatever it is that you wanted to do to celebrate)
I think I will do that, Meryaten. That is the perfect excuse to delay turning 40
I got them when I was 21 a month before I turned 22 so best case scenario 23 1/2 if it takes the whole 2 years then a month before I turn 24, if it goes over treatment time I'll be 24!!! I can't wait, my teeth look better every day!!
