Hi Paul,

Yes I'm very happy thanks :) just hope they stay put now fingers crossed! In answer to your previous question I have a friend in the dental industry that would probably be able to get you the best deal on veneers. She is based in Manchester. Would you like her details? Or you can add her on Facebook xx

I will keep my fingers crossed for you too! If you wear your retainer as instructed then I'm sure they will.
Yes that would be great thanks if you could put me in touch with her. I am not sure if i am suitable for veneers but it is something I definitely want to explore. I will PM you my facebook xx

Wow. I had no idea these even exist. Since I'm concern only about my two crooked/gappy front teeth I really need to check this option out. Is this only a UK thing?

Hi everyone, just thought I would give a quick update.
I went for a consultation with a local dentist and they recommended that the six month smile brace would be the best one for me as i have too much crowding for an Inman Aligner. The price they quoted me was £3500 which i think is really expensive?! Got some more consultations booked next week with other dentists so I'm going to shop around a bit and get several opinions before making my decision

Paulandrew,

You could get comprehensive treatment by a proper orthodontist for that figure. I would recommend that you get at least one consultation with a fully qualified orthodontist rather than shop round amongst general dentists for what is really specialist treatment.

Good luck,

Jem
Sectional brace with Damon clear brackets fitted to front 6 upper teeth 3 January 2012
Brackets added to premolars 2 April 2012
Estimated treatment time originally 6-9 months
. Brace removed on 22 July 2013 after 18 months and 19 days
Now enjoying bonded upper retainer plus part time essix/hawley( I have both)

Hi Jem,

Thank you very much for the message.
Had a consultation with an orthodontist today and you were absolutely correct, for the same price i could get lingual braces fitted by a proper orthodontist!

Now i just need to decide which treatment to have!

Hey everyone, thought I would upload some more progress pics as they're hard to find on the Internet other than from dentists adverts! and when I was debating getting an IA I wanted to see real people's pics to help me decide! This is at the beginning and then at nearly 7 weeks ...
