If miracles happen then I'll be brace free in time for my 21st! Seeing as that will only be 14 months treatment time its not very likely so I'm thinking I'll be 21 or nearly 22.
That's really scary...Can't I be a teenager for a few more years?
I guess my ortho just wanted to cheer me up by telling me it *could* only take around 1 and a half years.
Last time I was in braces for five years so I'm expecting the worst.
I was just barely 20 when I got them on. I'm crossing my fingers I'll be 22....I'd hoped to get them off before my birthday this December, but extenuating circumstances got in the way. Oh well, at least one day I'll have STRAIGHT TEETH!
Im getting mine next month and am 27 in February so hopefully will have them out in 12 months time!! just getting them on top so might not take too long! i hope
Was told when I got mine on in Feb 07 that i'll have them on for 12-18 mths but not sure if they say that to everyone so hopefully by end of summer next year Will be 29
And wow, this thread has been going for two years!!
For all I know, I posted in it previously. Hah.

P.S. Adjustment tomorrow, hoping for some good news, like a debracing date. I'm just shy of a year in archwires and I'd love to be done by, say, New Year's Day.
: )

Spacers, Nov. 1; Braced Nov. 8, 2006; Braces off March 26, 2008, just short of 17 months. Glad it's over but the jury is still out on whether the game was worth the candle.
interesting thread. Well if everything goes to plan, I will be getting the braces off next year around this time which would make me 31. Then I will wear invisalign for 6 months then I will be 32 when those come off.
Brace date: 5/2/2007
Debanding date: 1/14/2009
Ceramic Braces: 20 months
