From what I have read on this forum a lot of people have had it done the way you had yours done. Still no real pain today (just slight ache in my front teeth). I'm a bit nervous of what the "area" will look like once the stiches and packing have come outmillersgirl wrote:Wow our mouths looked very different! My oral surgeon didn't do it that way....and didn't have anything packed in the gums. He cut my gums, flapped them back to attach the bracket, then just stitched them all back together. I'm envious how comfortable you are after having this all done lol. I was in major pain the first day!
You are lucky! I hope you get your tooth activated at your appointment. I have to wait until the 12th as I was too swollen when I went in a couple days after surgery.
I'm so jealous! I was definitely in pain from him essentially cutting the roof of my mouth off then sewing it back together!!jenna88 wrote:

My next appointment is 6th march they haven't confirmed when they will be activating it so I guess I'll have to wait and see what he says then, and also what kind of state my mouth is in by then.millersgirl wrote:I'm so jealous! I'm am happy thought that you're feeling well. You get it activated soon, right? I'm waiting for 2.5 more weeks.
Hi Millersgirl, glad to hear your activation went well, mine isn't for another 6 weeks. I will be excited to hear about your progressmillersgirl wrote:Okay guys, I'm officially activated today! It didn't hurt but I'm thinking there's really not much pressure at all. I'm so happy to feel like we're finally making some progress though. My next adjustment is April 10th...hoping there's movement.
