Date of info = March 2012.
1. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
2. RM 7,500 (approx. US$ 2,500)
3. Damon - upper 10 front ceramic(clear) brackets, the rest metal.
4. 18 months

X-ray = RM80 x 3 pcs on day 0
Impression = RM 50 on day 0
Photos(8pcs) = RM 50 on day 0
A copy of all xrays on CD & photos on print.
The same costs applies again upon completion.

Total costs = RM 8,180

(Braces = DAMON
RM 6,500 for full metal,
Or RM 7,500 for upper front 10 pcs clear ceramic & the rest metal,
Or RM 8,500 for upper front 10 pcs & lower front 10 pcs clear ceramic)

I'm actually in South America, here are my answers:

1. Where are you located? Lima, Peru
2. How much are you paying for your braces? About $300 to start (for the metal) and about $70 monthly for adjustments. I was told it would take approximately 12 to 18 months, so total could be between $1440 and $1560
3. What kind of braces do you have? (ceramic, metal): metal
4. What is your estimated time in braces? 12 to 18 months. I'm at 10.5 months now

2. How much are you paying for your braces? $5200 for everything, records, treatment, permanent retainers post treatment
3. What kind of braces do you have? Ceramic on top and metal on the bottom - traditional brackets with ligatures
4. What is your estimated time in braces? 12-14 months. Cost not based on treatment time - as it's really difficult to estimate for certain.

3. What kind of braces do you have? Not yet sure as am still at the very early stages.
4. What is your estimated time in braces? Around 24 months, probably. But not yet sure.

Never been more grateful for the NHS I have to say. So lucky.
