Awww, you all really are the best!! I'm not just saying that, you really are! The highlight of my day is reading all of these posts; thank you all so much for all of your enthusiasm, this really is the best response I've gotten, and it does make the whole journey all worth it.
To answer one question, I did get a bonded retainer on the bottom; I tried to take a picture of it but it didn't really turn out. Anyways, so I've my pooh bear hawley on top and the bonded on the bottom. Works for me!

like Meryaten and KK, I got a bit emotional too when seeing your
happy post. Congratulations Evelyn. It took 'some' time, but the result is
just awesome. As said here, I too often was amazed about the intelligent
things you said here knowing you are only 17. You are a very mature
person who has contributed a lot to this forum. I am so glad that after all
the setbacks and the long journey you had, I can see such a happy girl.
You very much deserve it ! I really hope you keep visiting us from time
to time. I hope you said goodbye to your braces, but not to us ...
