Wow that is a huge improvement. I really hope that in one year the changes would be so evident on mine as well! :D

Thanks all, I remember being in my first few weeks of braces and looking at other people's pictures made me feel positive about it so hope this does encourage others that even with a starting set of teeth like mine it does get better.

I'm really chuffed so far, i expected the gaps to be closed by now but the way they are pulling the back teeth forward takes more time I guess, some people have extraction gaps closed in 6 months.
Brace Date: 14th April 2011
Estimated Debrace Date: 14th April 2013
Real Debrace Date 18th June 2013

4 extractions, upper ceramic brackets and lower metal to fix overjet and overcrowding.

Bit of an update, I was due in next Monday for an appointment but one of my powerchains had snapped, so I went in and had it fixed. Ortho very pleased with progress and said I have just the 1 gap left on my upper left side which shouldn't take long to close.

He reckons I have a "couple of appointments to go" which I replied "wow sounds great, I was hoping to get them off before July for my wedding" to which he said "no promises but we'll see"

Always playing the safe card! ha
Either way, I am very pleased to hear the end is coming and hopefully in 3 or 4 months I'll be able to post some final photos on here :-)
