I go every 4 - 6 weeks. My powerchains are working fairly well so I have been going every month to have them replaced. My next appointment was meant to be in a month but due to an operation that i'm having soon it was stretched out to 8 weeks to allow me to recover afterwards.
Heather. Wife, mother and 30yr old with braces :)
Sentenced to 18 months (approx May 2014)

I go about every 8 weeks which is good with me! I try to get the earliest time possible so it determines either a visit to Starbucks because it didn't hurt or to get a smoothie because I know I will not be able to eat for the rest of the day due to what was done. :)

Only got my braces yesterday and my next appointment is on 11th March so 4/12 weeks?

I just got mine, but my next appointment is in 8 weeks. My ortho said they will always be every 6-8 weeks. He wants the teeth to not move too fast, or the roots could become damaged.

I'm only into my second month, but mine seem to be every 4 weeks at this point. I have traditional metal braces, just uppers at the moment.

I have SL braces (Damon), and I'm supposed to go every 4 weeks. My ortho explained me that it didn't have to, at least for now, but he prefers to check on the progress.
Anyway, it's been only 12days since I got them, and I've been there 2 more times already - first for a pokey wire, and then a couple of brackets fell off.

I had my upper braces put on last Monday the 11th, and am on my way home right now from my first adjustment, 10 days later. The ortho changed ligs, put a spacer in, took some pics and filed down a sharp hook a bit. Going back in 18 days (March 11) for another adjustment. My teeth are really going in all directions, so the wire has straightened out quite a bit from when it was put on just a few days ago. Best part about today was changing from fabulous hot pink to fabulous hot blue :-D

I think I started out every 3 months and the time between visits has been getting shorter ever since.

I have been scheduled every 8 weeks since I started in March last year. I have ceramics on top and metal bottoms, my braces are self-ligating and I have no elastics. I do have powerchains.

They always tell me 4-6 weeks when I leave the chair, and the receptionist always tries to get close to 4, she says it is incase I need to change the appointment.
