Went with a dark blue powerchain on top and yellow ligs on bottom. No picture though I do have a silly question. Does anyone else get nervous before an adjustment, not because of pain or worry about what they'll be doing, but about not being able to decide on a color? I actually have had nights before an appointment where I laid in bed debating on what color to go with.
I really need to get a life.

Has anyone noticed staining with the silver ligs?
I got silver ligs 6 days ago. Last night, I had a curry with a fair amount of turmeric in it and they look OK. On the strength of that, I'm going for another curry tonight.

metallic ligs

#383 Post by skyclad »

I wish my ortho had metallic ligs...he has silver and some normal colors and some odd ones. I wonder if i can buy some on the net and bring them in myself for them to use on me?

These are my last ever colours

I meant to take the pic when they were first put on but I got a little lazy

This pic is from a few weeks in so they're gettin a bit dingy. The purple on the top started to fade very quickly but you get the idea.

I needed to get powerchains at a recent adjustment. My ortho only had clear and blue available, so I chose the blue to avoid staining. Since I had another appointment two weeks later to reposition some brackets, I went ahead and got blue on my uppers also. I personally didn't like the colored ligs because people who hadn't noticed my braces were suddenly noticing them. At my next appointment, I had the uppers changed to something more discreet.
