Think prawn marie rose (prawns in thousand island dressing/seafood sauce) and you're almost there...it's supposed to taste like that but doesn't quite. Still nice though
Meryaten, you no doubt remember Golden Wonder crisps, or perhaps Smiths crisps. And you're quite right, cheese 'n' onion was always green and salt 'n' vinegar was always blue. Those brands have now been almost completely usurped by Walkers, whose colour scheme is exactly the opposite (but just for those two flavours I think). Extremely confusing for us ex-pats but I'm getting used to it...
after all this time I still have to double check crisps bags for colour...I still think in Golden Wonder terms with green for cheese and onion and blue for salt n vinegar.
I think the best crisps ever, but they don't make them anymore, is KP's crispy bacon crisps...
