I love all the different color combinations! After reading these posts, I decided to go with hot pink ligs instead of clear at my last adjustment. Now---all my middle school students want to help me pick my next color combination...

pictures? and what color have they decided on for you?

Baby blue, of course!

I go in on the 24th for my impressions for my retainer (!!) and I might have them change my ligs to something crazy for my last week in braces (I'm getting debanded on the 1st!).

I'm thinking glow-in-the-dark ligs. My son (he's 11) will be so excited.

You are wearing my favorite color!!

I was initially afraid of what people would not take me serious in the professional setting if I had colored powerchains. One day the Ortho assistant told me to just try a color. She promised to personally change them if I didn't like it. I tried it and now I am addicted to colored powerchains. The brighter the better. My co-workers and students love them. What color I have on is a great conversation starter. I am having fun with this!!!

My first adjustment and I finally have those top molars in some brackets! You can't really tell from this picture but I have .16 round archwire with wireties, and powerchains stopping and starting from teeth 3 to 7. Sorry about the image size.

I really want to get a Mac! Seeing that my PC will not let me resize the image. It's gets an error each time! Ugh! *throw pc out of the window*

Here are my colors of my final ajustment. Silver powerchain up top with Neon Green powerchain on the bottom.

Time for the monthly update: I got metallic blue powerchains on the top this time around and yellow ligs on the bottom...yellow and blue makes green

. I like the color combo!

How come some folks have that neat figure-8 lig design on their brackets? Is it for a tighter fit, or is it a different bracket model that requires ligs to be worn like that? I want my ortho to do that !
