Really not bad, PuppySmiles. If I hadn't seen the first picture, I wouldn't have noticed at all.
I agree, no giving up chocolate :P

HIMgurl, nice colors. I was wondering how yellow would look. Looks nice with the black.

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I last posted, but I am readying myself to have my ligatures changed tomorrow (only for the second time). I am a coffee drinker and do eat curry. Up until now, I've only gone with silver on my clear ("Ice") brackets (I'm only braced on my top teeth) and they have been great, but I'm ready for some color! What colors do best with my diet choices? Meryaten, that green looks really neat! Did it stain very much? Thank you for your support back in September when I first got braced. The pain since that first (terrible!!) month has not been a problem!

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

On my last adjustment I picked a medium blue which turned into a light blue after they were put on. I like the color. I drink coffee and haven't noticed them staining or changing colors over the last 2-3 weeks.
A lot of people will be doing red and green for Christmas colors right now.
Have fun! :D

I've noticed that the ligs that stay closest to their original color for me are black (obviously), red, and hot pink (except for powerchains, for some reason)... the green I have right now is standing up fairly well too.
Hope this helps!

Thank you all for your suggestions!

I am going to the ortho in a couple of hours and am still deciding on the colors... I actually teach (adults) and at least at the moment, I don't want to be "too out there" with the colors (for professional reasons... or maybe it's a case of me being just still too conservative for now!), but I'm open to maybe a solid color and later, perhaps I'll be more "daring". The red, green or even blue sounds like they fare well with my diet and they sound fun!

My 12 year old nephew just got braced about 3 weeks ago and he has light blue ligs on. I think they look really great, but the top ones have faded a bit and have turned what he calls "green" and if this is what happens to that color, I certainly don't want that to happen to me since I do have to speak in front of large groups everyday. Thank you to the person who posted about using a darker blue. Maybe I'll go with that?? :)

I'll try to read back pages of this thread to see what other colors there are and what you all suggest. Who knows what color/ colors (if I'm feeling brave when I'm actually in the hot seat!) I'll end up with! Thank you again for all of your ideas!
