colour of braces

I'm getting braces next week and am concerned about the colours. It looks like there are clear brackets. Do these stain or discolour to yellow?

Ceramic braces (clear brackets) do not stain at all. Don't worry about that. It is the ligs...the little rubber bands that go around the bracket that will stain a little over time but you can choose colors that won't stain...and your ortho will be chaning them during your adjustments.
