Spacers again?

I went in for an adjustment the other day only to get the dreaded spacers again. They are where my bottom bands are, they are so annoying. Has anyone had to put in spacers during the middle of their treatment? And what was it for?

I'm nothing that could be confused as an expert on the subject, but it sounds like maybe you'll be getting an appliance? Perhaps an expander or TPA or something.

Just last week i had another set of bands put on and they annoyed me for a while but it just feels normal now. Id had a powerchain on my other teeth so i didnt need spacers again thank god. I got my extra bands so my very back molars could be included in treatment, probably because my wisdoms are coming through.

Oh man have I had spacers...I had spacers before the braces went on and three different times since they've been in place.

I feel your pain!
