1. Not severe
2. Braces only (surgery was an option, but I declined)
3. estimate 18 months

PS: I shall be having a lower wisdom tooth pulled in the next few weeks (it is preventing bite closure).

1. Severe enough
2. Braces and surgery
3. Estimated time 24-30 months. If I have it my way it will be 24 months only.

Be sure to visit more than one ortho for your diagnosis. I assumed all these years that I would have to have surgery and therefore put it off. Surgery is still a possibility for me but my ortho. gave me a 90% chance of fixing this with braces alone.

1. Not sure--my ortho didn't give me measurements or anything but when chewing my lowers would cover my uppers somewhat but my natural bite was end to end in the front. I also have a wicked crossbite on the left side with most of the upper molars partially inside the lowers. What a mess.
2. Braces upper & lower, with crossbite elastics at some point.
3. Treatment time 18-24 months.

Hope this helps.
