My ortho only uses the all metal Damon 3 mx. Has anyone had these and if so do you mind sharing a pic?

HI!
I have one single damon 3 mx bracket on my lower arch. I've tried and tried to get a picture of it and I only seem to get a shiny blur. I will try again later today and post a picture here.
It is really a very kool looking bracket! VERY smooth and shiny.
Off to try and get a clear picture for you! Wish me luck!

Here's a fairly good picture! THe MX is the one on the left. I am showing it along side a "regular" Damon III bracket so you can see the size. Believe me when I tell you this thing is
very smooth and comfortable. I wish they were ALL mx's.
They put this one on to replace a bracket I lost.
If this isn't a good enough picture, let me know...

. They look about the same size as the regular damon 3 brackets. Have you been pleased with your damons so far?

sorry to interrupt. just to say I also have the regular damon 3's and I am very satisfied. my teeth are starting to move and I don't feel discomfort from the brackets at all.
regards.

Here is a page from the Ormco product catalog. The all-metal ones are on the bottom teeth:

Yes, I do like my brackets very much. I have never had the traditional type so I don't have anything to compare against.
They've done their job nicely and are comfortable...well, as comfortable as braces can be I suppose.

I believe I have all mxs, based on the website Lynn referred to. I know I have Damon 3s; didn't know there were any other categories within that. The braces have been comfortable (as comfortable as they can be!!) with minor tweaking.
I've had a couple brackets come off since I've gotten them on June 14. When I went in to have one taken care of, the ortho decided to put some springs on my bottom teeth. The hygenist was practically jumping up and down in excitement on a new feature of the mxs. She was able to do a tie vertically so threading of the springs went really fast. My ortho just came back from a conference in which they talked about the vertical slot and said seeing how it worked on a patient like me made it worth the price of admission! It sure helped it make it easier for my crooked teeth to get springs attached.
Here's a pic of my braces right after getting them on.
... And after adding the springs 2 weeks later ...
Good luck to you!

Here is a link to pictures I took tonight. I never realized how gross my teeth looked. lol. Anyways the top 6 are fitted with Damon 3, my bottom left and right cuspids also. The rest are all Damon MX.
