11 weeks, 2nd adjustment, 3rd archwire -- with pics!

#1 Post by Kodius Champion »

I've just had the second adjustment, and it appears that I'll finally be getting those bottom brackets at my next adjustment in August! That'll be 4 months for my top teeth to have smartened themselves up and not cause trouble for the ones down below. I'll also be getting a spring on the left to make some space for that wonky tooth that isn't hooked up yet.

I haven't had any comment from the ortho about my progress (I've just seen the assistant for an archwire change every time), but I'm pleased thus far. (I'll be even more pleased when that front tooth straightens itself out)

Any comments?

Wow, that is amazing progress -- especially in the open mouth photo! I'd be pretty pleased, too.

Thanks all, it's good to know it's not just my imagination. I just need a little encouragement once in a while. :P

Wow! The pic of your teeth before you got braces looks a lot like how my teeth were before I got braces. I don't have my bottoms yet either. It has only been 4 1/2 weeks since I got the top ones. Hopefully I'll get the bottoms soon too. Your teeth are looking great!
