I just had my latest bends appointment, and the ortho couldn't find anything to correct this time! No bends! I am nearing the end of my braces journey!
Also, he added another elastic, this time to adjust my midline. The elastics for my overjet have been working great, and he was very impressed with my dedication in wearing them (if only he knew how often I forget to replace them). My next appointment is in three weeks, a schedule I will keep to the end.
It is actually possible that I will be braces-free when the baby's born (early November)!

I had a question about your elastics to correct your overjet. How long did/are you having to wear elastics? What was your overjet and what will they be able to reduce it to? Did you have to have any surgery? I will be getting elastics to reduce my overjet and just want to know what to expect.
