Wow, Henna, you have got those elastic hooks on your bottom archwire as well as top! I've never seen that!

Are they sharp? The ones on top definitely were the first time I had that archwire put in.

LUCYLOOP- They haven't told me how long i'm going to be wearing elastics for... in fact they hardly tell me anything.

STARGIRL- Where do I start? Those nasty hooks gave me at least 5 horrible ulcers! I got them in May...

All thats left now (according to my new ortho) is to close the extraction gaps and shift the midline. My teeth are almost straight he says. Thanks for ure comments guys I will keep u updated. My next adjustment is on October the 3rd.. quite a while away... See u guys take care...

They are quite nasty. I can finally open my mouth without getting my upper lip caught on them! I got mine in march.

cool. i wonder why some ortho's use the hooks with the archwire attached to it and some use the hooks which are molded on the brackets.... what's the difference??

anyone know why? im confused by this
