1st Adjustment

#1 Post by Toretto »

Hi there I had my 1st adjustment today, I have to admit I was a bit worried after hearing about how painful the first adjustment is but there was absolutely no problems at all, my ortho just popped on a new stronger wire and that was that, I felt the pressure straight away but theres no pain at all! :) next one in 10weeks time :)

I usually feel mild pain that evening or the next morning, rather than right away. It is nothing to worry about though. I have never had an adjustment that felt any worse than the first time in braces, that's for sure. Particularly after you get used to the braces and the mouth sores are all gone it is a piece of cake after that.

Good luck going forward!
