Has anyone had to wear one of these on the bottom from molar to molar with a band on the inside of the mouth?

Just curious if your tongue survived the beating as I might need one.

Yup, I have one on the top and on the bottom and it was nasty to try and speak through for a couple of weeks. But you'll get used to it.

Never had to use wax on it, just a bit of trouble speaking and a bit more trouble eating.
