Mine is 18-24 months. The sooner they are off the better.

2 extracted (1 when i was 12 the other jan of '06)
23 when I got Braced (dec 12, 2005)

I am supposed to be in treatment for 36 months.............
I have (soooo far) had 3 of my wisdom teeth extracted.....
I am 35 years old...........soon to be 36 in 5more days!!!
And I have the new "Smart Clip" style of braces on...

Second time with braces
6 months in braces (began 01/13/06), then upper/lower jaw surgery and genioplasty (7/13/06)
Approximately 8-12 months left with braces after surgery (total time approximately 14-18 months)
No extractions (had four teeth pulled for the first round of braces years ago)
Full ice brackets (wish I didn't choose these!)
40 and happy to have finally have fixed my bite even though it took surgery!

whats wrong with ICE??
