I am trying to get into the police force. I have heard rumors that no braces are allowed in the academy? Any cops in the house? Any truth to this?

Only way of finding out is to call and do some research, I was going to start treatment when I got out of highschool 3 years ago but coulden't cause the military woulden't let me since I would be on diployments and stuff longer then 6 months so that I help off for a bit and then was medically discharged so Police academy is different I would call them up and get infomration

My boyfriend is in the police academy in my state...if I can remember, I'll ask him, but I'm sure it varies from state to state.
