oRtho gift bag?

ok so obviously this is not really a gift bag because i'm sure it's included in the cost of the braces...when i first had braces, my ortho gave me an oral-b braces cut toothbrush and told me have fun ...what did you guys get in ur ortho "gift bag"?

I got an expander key, wax, little weird tooth brush thing--looks like a tiny christmas tree?, some tooth brushes, some canker sore medicine stuff, some floss stuff, some regular minty floss, a fold-up tooth brush for when im not at home, hmm i think that's it

when i first got my hawley (because i never had braces) i got 2 cases some wax, some mouthwash, and some retainer brite tablets.

I got a full dental kit that I can put in my purse. I liked the dentakit better. I also got a gift certificate to Jamba Juice in the mail my first week of braces, which I thought was really thoughtful.

I hope it is a gift certficate to some nice steak house when I get the braces off

A book of instructions on care and maintenance
One toothbrush

I feel left out I didn't get ANYTHING! Unless you count the tiny bit of dental wax that the ortho wrapped up in a tissue so it had bits of kleenex stuck to it! Oh and a tube of Gel-Kam which you brush on every night to stop teeth from 'declarifying' (whatever THAT means!) Oh well, I am having my braces courtesy of the NHS and it's hardly cost me anything so I shouldn't complain really!

I got one of these when they had fitted my brace. So far as I can remember, it contained the following:

• 2 x Boxes of orthodontic wax
  1 x Standard Toothbrush with Interdental brush on the handle.
  1 x Oral B Ortho Toothbrush
  1 x Pack of Tee-Pee Interdental brushes
  1 x Box of floss with threader
  1 x Tube of mouth sore gel
  1 x Patient information leaflet
  1 x Brace emergency leaflet, (what to do if brace breaks, hurts severely etc).

I didn't expect anything to be honest, so this was a bonus!

I walked out with a giant gift bag. I was surprised at all the stuff I got.

1 t shirt - if I wear it to my adjustments my name goes in a draw for a gift card
1 Oral B electric toothbrush
1 Oral B ortho cut toothbrush with a travel cap to put on it
1 bag of super floss
1 package of floss threaders for regular floss
1 package of sugar free gum
1 grape scented bite wafer
1 little box of wax
1 timer for brushing
1 pencil with his name/logo etc on it
1 water bottle again with the logo
2 little interdental brushes
1 large magnet with a list of foods to avoid and information on what to do if a bracket comes off or something like that happens
1 pamphlet with more detailed information

He also does special things for his clients. For example this weekend he rented out a mini golf course and we are all invited to go play for free. There are also monthly drawings for stuff. Most of it is catered for children but adult clients are encouraged to participate if they want to.

Gee all of this makes me anxious to see what all I might get in my goody bag!!! Bet your bottom dollar I'll post it!!!

Well, when I went for a cleaning I did get a toothbrush with the Dentists name on it. lol

i've heard of ppl getting rotadents and a whole bunch of expensive things...i hopes i even get a bag with the amount he quoted me!!!
