Bite plates

#1 Post by windsbud »

I just got braces put on my upper teeth 2 days ago and have a bite plate on the bottom. If anybody has one, have you had any discomfort with the bottom of your tongue getting irritated? Any helpful suggestions on what I can use to soothe it? I know I can use wax for the bracket irritation, but that cant be used for this irritation. Thanks all.
