Ladies and Gentlemen - wear your elastics as prescribed!

#1 Post by jcdamon3 »

As some of you may recall I got a really nasty (well not as nasty as some) but pretty nasty config of elastics at my last appointment. They are upside down triangles from top to bottom canines.

Well I wore them as much as I possibly could and the ortho was totally AMAZED and said I was getting my braces off next month. That's right folks, next month! I do have to wear the elastics until then but they are coming off!!!

My original time estimate was 18-24 months and I am getting them off at 16 months.

I am so happy I just can't believe it. My BIG GIGANTIC CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!! I promise I will post pics when I can - around Christmas time.

And now the dance:

Congratulations jcd. 16 months - fantastic.

As a night time wearer of the dreaded canine to canine triangle config, I take heart from your story.

Ooops, sorry for the multiple posts. I got a "failed post because of debugged mode" or something to that effect.
