Hello All:

Well, I decided to get braces in July 2006 because I wanted to fix some of my crooked teeth. One front tooth overlapped the other, my canine teeth protruded out a bit and I had a rotated tooth at the bottom. To be honest when you see the pictures of my teeth you may not even understand why I decided to get braces. I just did not like my profile because you could clearly see that my teeth were not really all that straight. Furthermore, I noticed the older I got the more my teeth shifted for the worse. So prior to my 30th birthday I decided to get braces. The orthodontist told me that my time would be approximately 9-12 months but I am hoping that it goes faster than that. I got both top and bottom put on at the same time and I go every 4 weeks for my adjustments.

It seems like my teeth are getting worse as the months go by but I know that in some cases things will get worse before it gets better so I am hopeful that things will straighten out in the end!
