Braces are a Piece of Cake

#1 Post by TinnGrinn »

I haven't been on here in a long time but was on here multiple times a day when I first got my braces. No pictures to upload now but I'll try and do some soon. Just wanted to let anyone with new braces on here looking for support know that, for me anyway, braces became just another part of my life. They don't hurt much after adjustments, and most of the time I forget I even have them. The best thing I did was buy a water pic for home and one for the office. Also, using Cepacol mouthwash and taking the suppliment Lysine has helped me to have zero ulcers or sores.

I have an adjustment today so it made me remember this site. I should find out today when I will be getting them off.

Thanks!

Good to hear you being so positive about your braces. That's the way to go :)

Hi tinn grinn, great that your experience has been so uneventful. Mine has been pretty similar thus far, touch wood.

I use lypsine when cold sores start to threaten, didn't know it had benefits for canker sores as well. Although it makes sense when you think about it.
