I have read threads (but cant find them now) that mention you can buy hooks that you can use to help put elastics on. Where could i buy these from in the UK?
There are a few places that sell orthodontic stuff in the UK, but I'd imagine the best thing would be to ask your ortho who his supplier is, and whether he could order you one.
I'm not in the UK and it depends on what you want. I was given a plastic tool by my ortho - about 2 inches long with a hook at one end, and a prong at the other. It works well and it cost nothing.
My ortho gave me an elastic hook....I never used it, but she gave me one!
I'd just ask your ortho.
