2nd adjustment

#1 Post by windsbud »

I just had my second adjustment today. The Dr changed my wire to a "stronger" one. He also adjusted the wire on my bite plate to keep nudging a crooked tooth into position.
I had some periodontal surgery yesterday and was concerned my bite plate would iritate my gums, or worse yet, not be able to wear the plate. But all is well and aside from some slight swelling and bruising of my gums, it wasnt so bad.
I am hoping this adjustment goes as smooth as my first. I had absolutely no pain after, just the slightest sensation of tightening.
Overall, my Ortho is very happy with my progress, and so am I! :P
