Wire ties are pretty nice...

#1 Post by Kat »

Well, I've been having a lig color problem ever sinse I've begun this journey.
I don't go for colors...yet.
I tried everything under the sun to be invisible against my ceramic brackets.
My ortho gave me a white wire and white wire ties.
They do rock! They can't stain like regular ligs. Wonderful!
I'm sure the white coating will wear off but thats ok compared to the yellowing staining color of the clears and opaques.

My ortho says he can't always used them in the future but I'll take them all I can.
So if you are struggling with yellowing ligs if you don't want to use colors and stay more un-noticeable, try the wire ties, they are great!

I've always had silver wires and wire ties. However, since having powerchains, I've had pearl. At my last appointment they had light sliver. Wow, the light silver powerchains on ceramic are great, they are not visible and do not stain! I thought the pearl was acceptable but the light silver is fantastic. Highly invisible. My ortho for some reason doesn't use white wires.
