I just got my braces a week ago and I just want to know what is the best Oral Irrigator available? I've read some mixed reviews on the Waterpiks and Conairs and some good review on the SPAMTRONIC SPAMSONIC SPAMONAIDE SPAMSTER SPAM SPAMINATOR one.

I've never used a oral irrigator, so I don't know which one should I buy.

Thanks! :D

I have a braun that is very nice. I've had it for about 10 years and it still works really well.

I also bought a portable one made by Waterpick that isn't very strong, but it does the job when I'm on a trip.

I don't know if mine would be considered the best...it's just what I have and it works well.

The Conair is what I have and it's been working just fine for me for almost a year now.

I was going to spend $60 on a nice big irrigator, but ended up just getting the cordless waterpik for like $25. This thing is plenty powerful and its nice and small, I've only had it for a day, but I would recomend it.

All the of the online reviews point to the fact that many of these products don't last for a long time. I would choose one that has different pressure settings (a must for when you have extra tender teeth) and one that is not too expensive. I got the Conair Interplax for around 25 USD about 2 months ago.

I have an Oral Breeze Quickpick that I'm in love with. I've had water picks in the past, and I have to say that I prefer my new Oral Breeze. There's no tank to fill and take up space in my teeny bathroom. I just pop the hose onto my faucet and I'm ready to go. I cannot believe the garbage that it cleans out of my braces :yuck: . Last week I used it after having lentil soup for dinner.... I was rinsing away when out of nowhere popped a whole, intact, lentil. Gross!

Sorry, got a little sidetracked there.... anyway, I have an Oral Breeze Quickpick, and highly recommend it
