So today, I went to get my braces off. I have been so busy with other things that luckily, I didn't have much time to think about my impending debanding. (Total brace time was 21 months)

I went in and the assistant said, "You must be so happy!" Of course I was! The whole process took about 30 minutes, he polished and scraped off the cement. Before I looked, I was rinsing and the reception popped her head in and asked to see them. Her eyes lit up and I hadn't even seen them yet. When I finally saw them, I couldn't beleive it. They were so different, I didn't recognize my own teeth, even though they've looked great for the past 2 months or so...

Here is me about 4 months into braces...

I am so happy, I ate and after I rinsed, there was almost no food. My gums are a bit tender and there was some blood, but not much. I'm hoping this is normal. I am just so happy today!

Cawfee, my teeth were not straight when it all began. Maybe the first picture was a few months (not one) into braces - My top 4 teet where all uneven and crooked, but there was so much spacing between them, they must have straightened out quickly since there was no force from the other teeth.

Let me ask ya, did you have them whitened yet?
What were your teeth like after thaking them off-did they do much polishing?
Did you look at them just after thaking them off befor they touched up anything?
