I live in the Uk and have had upper ceramics for about a month now.
My ortho said its £100 to have braces fitted and £25 everytime i have an adjustment, im not complaining but this seems extrmely cheap!
He also said i would have my braces for aprox 9 months so that doesnt work out to alot of money at all! Others seem to be paying alot more than me!
What do others pay?

hey!

I live in the USA. I have traditional metal top and bottom and i am paying $4500. that also payed for the expander i had in the beginning of treatment. $4500 is a lot better than what my sister payed for which was about $7500. Around where i live, $4500 is pretty cheap. :)

I'm in the UK too and it is costing me just over £4000, but my treatment is pretty complex and the higher cost reflects that.

I wouldn't worry about the cost. You are only having uppers and for a very short time period. Most of us have uppers and loweres and for a much longer time frame. A frined of mine went in for a touch up - 6 to 8 months and not complicated - hers was very inexpensive as well.

I have metal Damons upper and lower. Total cost of treatment is 7000 Canadian $ (around 6000 US$), not including the retainers at the end.
