Tomorrow lunchtime I'll be having a new miniscrew implant put in to replace the one that was rejected.
Instead of in the palate like before, I will be having it put on the outside of my gum between my canine and the tooth behind (which is my 2nd bicuspid as I don't have my first ones anymore). My previous implant experience was not a very pleasant one and I've been dreading this for weeks. My orthodontist is doing it as he has now done the training. Last time I had to go to London for it. Hubby is coming with me for moral support.
I have a one hour appointment and if there's time I will also have my top brace put on. My ortho doesn't think the screw will take more than a few minutes to insert. I guess it depends on how many times hubby and my ortho have to pick me up off the floor (I almost passed out twice the first time I had them done
)
I'll let you know how it went tomorrow afternoon when I get back.
